If you’re looking for a test fixture that fits seamlessly into your testing process for your UUT but aren’t sure where to begin, talk to us at Mirotech. With our extensive experience and expertise in automated test fixture systems and integration, we ensure your system operates smoothly and efficiently.
Here’s a scenerio of the requirements of your test process
- Provide power to the board and verify voltage biases.
- In many cases, sufficient test coverage can be achieved through the board-to-board connector, eliminating the need for flying probes or dedicated test points.
- (Optional) Program the sensor board serial number into the sensor board EEPROM, which is controlled via I2C.
- Program the product bootloader (if not preloaded by the component CM) using the JTAG connector.
- Power up the board and load the product firmware — either through the power connector or via Power Over Ethernet (PoE), with both methods requiring testing.
- Verify GPIO functionality using a hardware loopback within the power cable.
- Capture test pattern images from both the sensor and FPGA using a “golden” or functional sample sensor/sensor board.
- Compare captured images to pre-defined “golden” reference images to ensure there are no memory or processing defects.
